Every Thursday evening starting May 14th, until it gets too cold or too dark to ride, CMBC ride leaders will guide members through funtastic trails in the Whitehorse area.
Rides start at 7:30pm sharp (please show up 10-15 min before) at designated starting points and run about 90-120 minutes. All skill levels and genders welcome. There are no first or second place blah blahs, just good old fun on the bike, getting social and familiar with the trails.
IMPORTANT: You must be a group member with paid insurance to participate in these rides. Leaders will be checking memberships and we cannot make exemptions. If you show up without a membership, you can't ride. Leaders may have a limited number of forms to sign up on the spot (bring exact change in cash), but don't count on it -- get your membership ahead of time.
We are also looking for people interested in leading rides. To volunteer, or to ask any questions you may have, contact Isabel Lindemann, recreation director.
A Few Group Ride Notes:
• If the group is large, we may split to reduce the group size and satisfy skill levels.
• Please notify at least two people if you are dropping out from a group ride.
• Bring: tools, extra tubes, pump, hydration fluid, snack, and most important, your helmet.
• Respect the land and others using.
• Yield to others on the trails.
• If you pack it in, pack it out.
