Hello fellow racers and beer garden supporters!
This Saturday is the Boogaloo to Boréale fun race. Here are some important times/info to keep in mind:
Race registration: between 3-4pm. $40 for club membership (includes $25 insurance) and $5 for race/bbq. CASH OR CHEQUE ONLY. Registration at Yurtville. This includes all kids over the age of 11. Under 11 will sign a Boréale waiver.
Short and long course start: 4pm. Depart from Yurtville. The course is a loop this year. It is the usual length of 21 kilometres.
Run bike kids fun race start: 6pm. Depart from Yurtville. Cost is $5 per rider and the parents must sign a Boréale waiver.
Non-racers/beer garden supporters: $5 entrance. All monies go towards supporting awesome CMBC events in the future!
BBQ/beer gardens info: 4pm - 11pm. Each racer will receive a ticket for one beer and one bbq at registration. Each 'partier' will receive one bbq. Beers will be sold for $4 each. Juice, pop available as well. CASH ONLY!
Families are highly encouraged to come out and enjoy the fun. At this time of year the bluff can be a bit windy and/or mosquito-y so dress accordingly. Bring your spare party clothes for post-race fun!
