We have your long weekend planned!

The Teslin Midnight Sun Showdown Downhill race is all about biking fun under the Midnight Sun. Not many places can one bike down a Mountain at the late hours of the night with natural daylight. This event is for anyone looking for a unique experience.

When: July 2nd, 2011 racing starts at 1900 Where: Teslin, Yukon (Km 1250 of the Alaska Highway - across Teslin cottage lots) Cost: The cost is only $5 but you must be a CMBC member to race. We will be taking memberships on race day.

The race will take place on a newly constructed trail called "Moose Tracks". This trail can be considered a beginner intermediate type trail. This 5km trail winds down the local hills with natural flow and beautiful lake views. You don't need a "big bike" for this trail.

The race will offer different categories to suite your riding style and skill level. Following the race there will be a BBQ near the finish line. The guys at Cove Bikes have already offered up some great prizes.

Teslin has several different campgrounds available if you wish to camp for the night.

The goal of this event is to bring mountain bike enthusiast to our newly constructed Teslin trail network. It has been said Teslin has one of the best freeride trails with "Honey Drop" in the Yukon. So why not come on out for a day of riding with some racing fun in the evening. The trails are shuttle access and the road is in great condition, there will be some shuttle vehicles out there for the weekend to help as well.
