This enduro is open to all women & girls out there, from first time riders to local rippers! We just want to hang out and enjoy an amazing day with a bunch of rad ladies!
We are SO excited to bring back the ShredHERs enduro for it’s second year! This event is all about bringing the ladies together to shred on the trails and meet other rad women!!
A few things to keep in mind:
Parking might be limited so we’re encouraging folks to carpool if you can.
We all love our fur babies but unfortunately dogs are not allowed to enter the race. Please leave your four legged friends at home and brag to them about how amazing you did at the race when you get back!
The race will start and end in the Magnusson Parking Lot. We will have the registration table set up here with the tunes bumpin!
Once you've signed your registration form you will receive a "dipstick". This is how your time on each leg of the race will be recorded. Your time begins when you dip and stops when you dip! There will be a volunteer at each timing station to make sure you don't miss any section and to help out if needed!
Racers will start 30 seconds apart from each other to keep a bit of spacing on the trails. If you are catching up to someone on the trail give a quick WOO HOO to let them know you are behind them. If a racer has caught up to you please move off the trail and let them pass.
There will be an opportunity to take a break between each segment if needed as well!
There are features on the trail, some have ride arounds but if you do not feel comfortable riding these bits there is no harm in getting off your bike and walking! We want everyone to have a great day and don't want to see any injuries! (We will have Ski Patrol on hand to administer first aid should anyone need it though! Thanks Ski Patrol!!!) Just be cautious of other riders and walk off the trail when possible.
When you return to the Magnusson Parking lot you can celebrate here with a well deserved hot dog or hamburger (or BOTH! after all that awesomeness!!) thanks to Wykes Independent Grocers for sponsoring our BBQ! We also have epic prizes from our AMAZING sponsors Icycle Sports and Cadence Cycle as well as a podium for photo opportunities and medals!!!
PLEASE NOTE this will NOT be a closed course and there is two road crossings, please be cautious and respectful of other trail users and vehicles you may encounter!
Mountain biking extraordinaire Kate White is returning as our super awesome emcee!
I can't wait to see you all come out and SHRED LIKE A GIRL!!!!!!
