Are you ready to clean out your garage?
Icycle, VeloNorth and Contagious Mountain Bike Club are hosting a Bicycle Garage Sale. If you want to come and buy a new bike OR search for bike accessories, go to Icycle between 11:30-2:30 on April 30th. This is a garage sale, so it will be cash only. Some sellers may accept cheques.
If you are interested in selling here is some important information:
-We will be accepting FULL BICYCLES for drop off between 10:00-11:30. The cost for dropping off a bicycle is $10 plus 5% of the sale of the bike. You must determine the cost of the bike when you drop it off.
-This will largely be a garage sale format, so members are encouraged to bring bikes and bike accessories to sell themselves. Set up will be from 10:00-11:30 and we will be providing tables, tents and bicycle racks to help you out. You are responsible for collecting money and determining prices. (The price of $10/bike only applies when the seller is dropping off)
-In exchange for organizing the event, we are asking vendors to donate 5% of their Bike Garage Sale profits to CMBC/VeloNorth. This will be on an honor system. We will not be asking people to record details.
-You must clear out all your bike stuff between 2:30-4:00. Any bikes that are not picked up at this point, will be donated to a local Whitehorse charity.
-A canoe is not a bike accessory. Neither is a camp stove.
