Cycling Safety - CAN-BIKE Courses

Whitehorse will soon host Yukon CAN-BIKE Cycling Safety Courses, for participants 14 years to adult, from May 9th - 14th, 2011.


For cyclists,who already ride on residential streets and bike paths, to develop skills and build confidence in low traffic neighbourhoods.


Advanced skill and knowledge development in defensive cycling for commuter and recreational cyclists who already ride in traffic.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN INSTRUCTOR? For information on becoming a CAN-BIKE instructor please contact us. Training will take place in conjunction with CAN-BIKE II

There is an opportunity for those who successfully complete CAN-BIKE II to be selected as a CAN-BIKE Instructor.


o $40 Fee per Course o Please register with payment (cash or cheque only) at Sport Yukon o Cheques can be made payable to the Recreation & Parks Association of the Yukon o The registration fee is non-refundable after April 30th o Space is limited, so please register early - Maximum 8 people per course o For more information please contact Anne at 668-2389 or Sabine at 668-8312
